ABOUT CAMP
AGES
Spartan Allstars consist of children entering K–9th grades or ages 5-14.

We offer several Camp Options. We have a half day morning multi-sports program for Incoming Kinder and 1st Graders. A Full Day Multi-Sports Camp for incoming 1st-7th Graders. Specialty Camps for incoming 2nd-9th graders. And a Junior Counselor Program for incoming 8th-9th Graders.
GROUPS
Campers are divided into groups by age, grade, and in some cases by gender. It is important that sports camp groupings account for safe and fair competition.

Typically, group sizes run anywhere from 13–17 campers depending on the age of the group.
ACTIVITIES
One of the best things about My City Allstars Camps is the wide range of sports and activities that Campers are exposed to. We offer a “buffet” of activities that may otherwise be cost prohibitive for parents. Activities vary week to week based on location, facility, and staff availability.

Activities may include: Football, Soccer, Basketball, Lacrosse, Hip Hop, Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball, Badminton, Pickle ball, Special Activities, Kickball, Dodgeball, Tennis, Lacrosse, Ping Pong, Baseball/Softball, Spike Ball, Team Handball, Futsal, Yoga, Capture the Flag, Kickball, Hockey, Crafts, Swim, Water Games, Rugby, Wrestling, Martial Arts, Fencing, Cricket, Field and Court Games, and more!

Please check your location to find Camp Schedules and the most up-to-date weekly offerings. The main stadium is being redone this summer, so some sports/activities might not be available this summer due to construction.

Junior counselors (JCs) play a vital role at My City Allstars Sports Day Camp. To be a JC, participants must be 13–14 years of age and entering 8th or 9th grade. The purpose of the JC program is to give early teens the opportunity to develop leadership skills, gain work experience, and reinforce sports skills by teaching them to others. JCs are assigned to work with head coaches, the media team, or a specific age group to teach campers basic game skills, be proactive, and participate in and organize activities led by coaches. JCs gain volunteer hours and learn valuable lifelong skills.

Although JCs are not technically campers and are transitioning into more of a leadership role, they are still young and under the supervision of the staff. Typically, two JCs are assigned to each group, often one male and one female.

JCs should not expect to be assigned with their friends, in fact, we find that it can be counterproductive in their leadership development. In order to gain the most from the program JCs are expected to follow staff instructions, be at their designated locations, and are expected to proactively participate in camp activities throughout the day. Tuition includes two JC shirts, which must be worn daily.
